This compact fishing line was a short lived concept from Creative Playthings. I only found a reference to it in the 1966 catalog.

“Now younger brothers can take their places alongside the big boys with their very own, very special fishing gear. Their “rod” is a whimsical hand-sized bright orange fish fashioned of wood; their line (15′) is heavy tangle-resistant string, with necessary equipment included: float, sinker and hook (no worm). If the fisherman gives up, he can play little boy and float his fish instead. 7″ long with rubber tongue for safely imbedding hook when not in use.”
